ATMEA Quality and Environment: Successful ISO 9001/14001 certification follow-up audit

December 07, 2012

On September 2012, SGS performed the annual follow-up audit on the management system of ATMEA Company for combined ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification. The ISO 9001 standard defines requirements for the quality management system, while ISO 14001 concerns environmental management system requirements.

The management system of ATMEA is based on the best management practices of the mother companies including the use of common ATMEA1 project procedures shared by the three companies. The collaborative approach by ATMEA, AREVA and MHI also contributes to costs reduction. The audit report noted as a conclusion that “the management system of ATMEA contributes to the efficiency of the actual activities of ATMEA Company and gives confidence for the future”.

“I would like to congratulate ATMEA team for its role in following and maintaining the good practices and making this audit a success. Certification of our management system shows our Customers our commitment to continuous improvement, which is also highlighted in our Quality and Environment Policy,” declared Philippe Namy, President of ATMEA
