Becquerel Prize for Nuclear 2017 in Czech Republic

Official awards ceremony of the “BECQUEREL PRIZE FOR NUCLEAR 2017”, organized by the Embassy of France in Czech Republic and cosponsored by EDF and ATMEA, was held in Prague on June 16, 2017. Three students of Czech Technical University were awarded by EDF and ATMEA during this ceremony presided by Nobel Prize winner Jean-Marie Lehn. The first two got, on top of prize-money, the opportunity to go to French research center for one month by the end of year 2018.

The goal of this competition was to award the best PhD research work in nuclear research in Czech Republic performed by young generation (less than 30 years old). The selection process started in February 2017, and submission of application in April, oral presentations in May followed.

ATMEA would like to be present in Czech Republic to contribute to nuclear science development through this kind of award event, training, suppliers’ event, international conference in Czech Republic, and so on.
